Better Privacy for Vivaldi Users, Thanks to DuckDuckGo Tracker Radar

Today, we're delighted to announce that the Vivaldi browser has incorporated DuckDuckGo Tracker Radar, resulting in easy, effective tracker protection for its users. Tracker Radar is our tracker-blocking technology that exposes hidden trackers by analyzing and understanding how they behave across the Internet. A Tracker Radar-powered blocklist is now included in Vivaldi, meaning (if you enable it) creepy third-party trackers are blocked in the background as you browse the web, creating a more private, pleasant and faster web experience with no extra effort or sacrifice. To enable it for individual sites, click on the shield icon in the address bar, or for protection across all websites, click "Block Trackers" in SettingsPrivacy.

“The united efforts of DuckDuckGo and Vivaldi make it easy for users to finally get what they deserve: a safer internet without tracking.”
– Vivaldi CEO Jon von Tetzchner

What sets DuckDuckGo Tracker Radar apart is a comprehensive and continually updated data set of well-known trackers, as well as advanced protection that blocks known trackers before a connection to them is ever made. This prevents trackers from accessing your browser resources and is an approach that has been proven in our Privacy Browser mobile app and Privacy Essentials desktop browser extension. We've also made this data set publicly available not just for browser makers, but for anyone interested in researching tracking behavior and implementing next-generation blocking technology.
